Old Antique Historical Political Document. President Zachary Taylor 1850 Military Land Grant for Green Bay Wis Wisconsin. Know Ye, That in pursuance of an act of Congress, entitled An Act to raise for a limited time, an additional military force, and for other purposes approved February 11th, 1847, Samuel Huller late a private in Captain Company Battalion United States Marines having deposited in the General Land Office a Warrant in his favor numbered 27,643 There is therefore granted by the United States unto Henry C. Carter assigned of said Samuel Haller and to his heirs the North East quarter of section twenty in Township fourteen North of Range seven East in the District of Lands subject to sale at Green Bay Wisconsin containing one hundred and sixty acres. In Testimony Whereof, I, Zachary Taylor, President of The United States of America have caused these letters to be made Patent, and the Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunder affixed.
