Old Antique Historical Political Document. President Martin Van Buren 1840 Land Grant. Given to Harvey Durkee of Racine County, Wisconsin Territory, for the South East quarter of section nineteen in Township one North of Range nineteen East in the District of Land subject to sale at Milwaukee Wisconsin containing one hundred and sixty acres. In Testimony Whereof, I, Martin Van Buren, President of The United States of America have caused these letters to be made Patent, and the Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunder affixed. Given under my hand, at the City of Washington, the tenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty and of the Independence of the United States the sixty fifth.
